Volkswagen’s Dog Fish Ad – WTF?
No one is really sure what the ad execs were tripping on when they created the latest VW SpaceFox ad, but let’s hope they’re sharing. We’ll also admit, it’s pretty clever – at first you’re wondering exactly what the hell a mutant dog-fish has to do with selling Volklswagens. But when you read the SpaceFox tag line “Anything You Imagine” this strange spot makes a little more sense…only a little.
It was kind of sad to see the dog-fish caught up in a fishing net, but thankfully it escaped and was reconnected with its owner – A happy ending for all! VW’s ad was created by Almapp BBDO of Brazil for the South American SpaceFox model.
