Volkswagen Takes You To Work With The T6 Mobile Office
Volkswagen hates the idea of you being away from work for more than 2 minutes. So, their latest concept lets you bring the office home in their T6 van. The Mobile Office concept from VW follows in the footsteps of Nissan’s roving office, and combines the latest in automotive (as well as space, computer and environmental) technologies with their classic “Hippie” van – but this couldn’t be further from the idea of hippie living.
Alexander Zhukovski, a student designer from the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts in Russia fused the two concepts in a way to create an executive “office of the future.”
T6 is the perfect vehicle for those who are workaholics. VW’s T6 contains a full office suite, including a meeting section and a personal cubicle. Two compact sections are combined in the center with a movable, turning midsection made of a rubber-type material, much like large city buses. The wheels are positioned on the outer section of the body and revolve around the two cylinders. Each end contains a door that opens vertically; giving you, your administrative assistant and your marketing team easy access to your job.
