Volkswagen Takes Home Dakar 2009 Win
Every year, race fanatics gather in some far off desert to compete on bike, quad, car and truck. This event is known as Darak and was held for the first time in Latin America this past week. The 15-day, 5,950-mile off-road race went from Chile, up through the Andes and on to Buenos Aires. Taking home a win for the car division was a Volkswagen Race Touareg 2 containing a 260 horse power 2.5-liter 5-cylinder supercharged diesel engine. Check out the exclusive action photos below!
